There are three types of chemical peeling:

•  Surface chemical peeling
•  Medium deep chemical peeling
•  Deep chemical peeling

Surface chemical peeling is extremely mild and is done with 20% - 35% acids depending on the manufacturer and the type of acid that has been used. Its advantage is that there is no recovery period, without peeling, but it cannot remove all the irregularities of the skin.

Medium deep chemical peeling is already a deeper type of peeling. Stronger TCA acids (trichloroacetic acid) are used and are used to eliminate dead skin, remove scars, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, freckles, blemishes and melasma, and to stimulate cell regeneration and collagen synthesis. After this type of peeling, the skin becomes red and goes through the peeling phase, which usually starts after the third day. It peels off in thin flakes and this should not be done violently but let the skin do it on its own. This peeling is our goal because it removes deeper irregularities of the skin. The goal of this peeling is also the stimulation of fibroblasts, which leads to the creation of new collagen and elastin.

We practice deep chemical peeling for deep skin rejuvenation. This type of peeling requires a long recovery period, and for that reason preference is given to other methods that do not require a recovery period or require a significantly shorter period.
